| I am interested in the J&T 16" CAR KIT and was wondering which lower has the best fit and finish to match this kit. My options are limited to DPMS (froged), CMMG (milled), Rock River (forged), and Olympic (forged). Any help is greatly appreciated. |
| My local gun shop only carries those lowers and charge an outrageous price for FFL transfer (20% special order fee + $45 ffl transfer fee). But if I could find a double star lower, that would be great. Is there a list or a lookup feature somewhere? Thanks for your help. |

Are there any gun shows around your area? That's usually one of the best places for obtaining lowers, and usually has the best deals too. The other option would be to check and see if there is another gun shop anywhere close to you and call and see what they offer or what they charge for transfers. If neither of those two are options, then I would recommend either the CMMG or DPMS, both should have a rich black teflon finish. Thanks, Jesse |
