I have a s&w 15-22 Moe inbound and need a red dot.  Usually run acog and aimpoints on my serious rifles but need a cheaper decent optic for this plinker/trainer.  I looked at the various descriptions on your site and am still befuddled.  I'm right handed, don't need qd mount, and want absolute cowitness.  Which model?  Also thinking about picking up a magnifier, i have an old 3x that is not eo or aimpoint.  Not really sure of the brand, cheapy knockoff, but it has stood up to abuses that i've dealt it.  Thinking 6x, don't mind the short eye releif as the one i have isn't any longer .  I shoot ntch.  Quick summary mini dot with fixed mount, magnifier with qd mount/flip, at absolute cowitness on both.  Looking for cheapest route to accomplish these parameters, thanks for any help.

If you really want absolute CW that limits is a bit. If you just want the dot to line up with the irons that is not cowitness. Lots of confusion about this.  Clarify that and I will get you in the right direction.

Thanks

Originally wanted a mount height that puts red dot on the tip of the front sight when the front sight is centered in rear aperture...whatever that is called this week, lol.  I talked to a sales guy at PA thursday morning, decided to go with a md06 in a fixed pa mount.

That is not cowitness. That will happen with any cowitness if you zero the irons and red dot at the same distance. This video will explain
