so i've been sitting on a PSA stripped lower for several months..........i figure i might as well build something while i wait for my suppressors to come in...
i'm looking at 2 different uppers and 1 rifle kit.

the uppers are:
http://palmettostatearmory.com/23929.php
http://palmettostatearmory.com/23938.php

uses:
i have a 200yd range....and that's pretty much it.
i shoot steel and paper...mostly just steel and rarely groups (but it WILL happen some)
lots of rounds fired per range session...minimum of ~100rds per session...and possibly as much as ~500 on a long weekend
POSSIBLY used to shoot groundhogs at/under 100yds

what i want:
moa out to 200yds, better is better...of course.  will shoot off hand with VFG or maybe AFG...will shoot form the bench from a bag or rest...might use the bipod occasionally as well
i want to shoot just about any ammo....xm193, xm855, wolf, UMC, wwb....whatever's the cheapest the day before/of the range trip  (5.56 and rem .223)
i want 100% reliability

i will be getting the gun with the 15" SS handguard
I will be finishing the lower with one of the newer magpul stocks, when they come available....PSA lower parts kit....undecided on final trigger though (thinking cm straight trigger though)
I will be using DD or Troy sights with my vortex sparc, off of my mp15-22.....or possibly buying a falcon 1.5-5x30

so....which would be better in this routine?   go with the heavy...or save the weight and go with the medium weight?  i don't think the heavy will really be any/much more accurate from barrel flip, on a 16" build, but would it give me ANY benefit over the medium profile?

I just got done building my first AR and I used the medium profile barrel and it seems to shoot great,  I only have iron sights and I went to the range for the first time yesterday and the range is only 25 yards but I shot baseball size 30rd groups offhand.  With a scope and rested I am sure it would be able to shoot moa groups but so far it functioned flawlessly and would highly recommend.  Ammo used was american Eagle, wolf, and xm193 and it shot all with no problems.  I thought about the heavy barrel but figured the medium would have be the best choice due to weight and with the medium weight there is very little muzzle rise.
