BD, we would love to hear how the new key is behaving.

I've been using it quite a bit since it arrived.  Lovin' it so far!
I really didn't know what I was missing because the only key I had ever used was the Bencher.
The fine adjustments on the Kent are a joy.  And something I didn't expect was how much more stable it is, even though it is lighter than the Bencher.
Must have something to do with the length/width aspect ratio.

ETA:  I think I changed my mind about disassembling and clear coating the brass parts.  I'll leave it as is and see how much "patina" appears.

Great news.  There is something about a really nice key regardless of the price

I keep looking for one of these. I don't know if they are discontinued or I am just too dense to find one. But if one showed. Up at Fort Wayne, I'd probably buy it.

My pleasure, Mr_Harry.  I noticed that DXEngineering's IN STOCK status changed to "Estimated Ship Date: 11/25/2013" after you posted you bought from them.

I must have gotten lucky, I got the e-mail today that it is shipping, so now I will
have a dual paddle to go along with my single paddle (from american Morse).
