Got one under my barn. Dual traps have been set. Rig is a T/C Encore with 12" Bulberry barrel in 22LR, 4-12× Burris LER scope atop it. Weighs around 9lbs. Good for minute-of-flea shots to 60yds. Past that, switch to a 15" 22-250 w/ 2.5-8x Leupold Vari-X EER. I have to load up some pistol specific 40 or 50gr VMax rounds for this barrel. It's my go to for chuck work out to 150ish yards. Apparently I have a family under the barn. #2 was in the trap this morning; now it's in the ground. They're not venturing far enough out from the buildings to give me a clean shot without risk of a round going onto nearby property so the burrow exit is covered with traps and obstacles. We'll see how many more surface. |
