I hope this is the right forum, if not, please let me know.

I thought I would share a few pictures. The first is/was a 76 Chevy half ton with a 513" Cadillac, the second is a 91 Dodge W250 with a 5.9L Cummins. The first isn't a practical BOV for most realistic situations, but should S really hit the Fan and I need to get away from everyone, the second wouldn't even come close to getting me and the wife to our secondary BOL. (it would take another big buggy, track rig, or a helicopter)

The second is my hunting rig and occasional driver. Its got well over 400k on the odometer but still runs strong. I put 35" tires on it with no lift, welded the rear diff, and built some bumpers for it.

This is an old picture of my last resort BOL. It was originally built in the 50's by seismograph crews looking for oil, then our family added some very meek living quarters on the back. Its minimal, but its got a propane stove and lights, and a nice wood stove. Its also a bit easier to get to in the winter should the need ever arise. (snowmobiles) Here is a link to a trip report, it describes in some detail how isolated this location is.

I'll try to get some pictures of the other BOL, its not much to look at either, but it might be interesting to some.
