| Is there a discrete way to put up a HAM antenna in a subdivision? I live in a densely populated neighborhood and am thinking about getting into HAM, but would like to keep my HAM capability low key if possible. |

For what kind of frequency bands and usage? HF? VHF/UHF FM/repeaters? All of the above? ETA: Tons of amateurs over the years have enjoyed the beauty of a nice flagpole in the front yard |
Do some research on PRB-1. The way I understand it the FCC preempts local ordinances, but you might be SOL if your subdivision has a restrictive covenant. Check to see if your state has it's own amateur radio antenna legislation. I know that NC has its own legislation. Vulcan94 KE4TLB |
