Would enjoy trying hog hunting but don’t want to drive down south, a bit too far. Any states along the northern border offering hog hunts? Thanks

They're there... maybe not where you're at, but they're on the way.

The hogs (wild boar) that map shows escaped from a private game hunting club in West-central NH back in the 1940’s through a fence that got blown down by a hurricane. Many have tried “hunt” them with no success. There “may” be a few out there but not many. The terrain in this area (and most of NH) is difficult to hunt anyway.

Fun fact - hunting hogs is illegal in Nebraska

We have wild hogs in southern Kansas. Not the North, but not the South either.

If you feel like driving south. I've gone many times to Ga. & hunted with Pig Problems Inc. $500.00 p. hunter, they supply the rifle (AR in 762x39) with thermal & ammo. You can bring your own rifle (w.thermal) I bring my 308. Shoot as many as you can/see. Max the owner is a member here. The most the 4 of us shot was 14 in one night. The last time we got 3. They bring you around to many different fields, if no hogs are spotted you go to another field & so on. You hunt all night. Great time & a great guy.

They’re in Connecticut, and Massachusetts too, but I’m pretty sure they’re illegal to hunt.
