In my opinion, no. I carry a spare bolt carrier group. That's it. I carry a brush for cleaning the bolt and a bore snake. I will be adding a aluminum rod merely for pushing out a bullet from a squib if it happens. I don't carry all the troublesome little springs and pins because I will not be disassembling my AR in the field further than breaking open the top if I have to clean out mud or dirt.

I cannot speak for everyone, but i have not. I have heard of two stage aftermarket triggers going bad, as well as a few higher end triggers, but I have never heard of a regular single stage trigger just breaking.

I am sure others will be along who will have more experience with malfunctioning AR's. My RRA two stage triggers have been great so far.
