| I have 5 broccoli plants I started indoors in Feb, put out early April, and are now almost 4 feet tall. They all are all very large and bushy and they have NO head on them, not even a tiny hint. Almost 150 days from seed to now and still nothing. This seed was new this year from SSE. Whats going on? |

I'd pull them and get your bed ready to plant some more later summer/early fall. |

Got waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too hot too fast, still is, and all of my broccoli grew straight up, and straight to seed. I've cut what has shown and am waiting to see if I get the little "flowerette" heads soon. If not, compost pile. I started mine from seed as well. |
Mine is the same , is it the variety called Romanesco ? If so it comes on late ,usually run out of growing season. This is the 3rd time I tried to grow it and only once did I get a tiney head about the size of a baseball , but it was GOOD. The Groundhogs love it so much they will die for it . . if it dosent do well this year I aint growin it no more .

I think Comet is the other variety that I've grown. I prefer the pacman. |

I'm thinking of doing some next year, I can plant it around first of May right?? Since it's a colder weather crop?? |

It was bigger, tastier and was ready faster than the Di. |
