I came across two nice CW training programs for send and receive MRX Morse Code and CWCom
The MRX Morse Code is $50 but has a 30 day trial, as far as I can tell CWCom is free. Both of them let you hook your paddles or key to your computer (via serial port) so you can practice sending. I use HRD/DM780 almost daily to practice CW. With the radio's break-in set to OFF, DM780 decodes my ham fist very well, without QRMing the planet. Nice to be able to see the results on screen. It sure helps to be able to inspect your sending Yea it does. Even though I am kinda proficient on sending CW I have my K3 decode my sending just to make sure. It has helped me with my spacing immensely. |
