| Looking to get into this game. I have two locations for deer I would like to replace my cameras with cell ones. What are some good ones that are for a simple minded boomer to use? |

I have Moultrie Edge, the Edge 4 automatically picks between ATT and Verizon, whichever has best sign. I have the 2's, they are like $45 apiece right now (2 pack at Walmart). Don't love them, they are fine though. Have 2 tactacam reveal x 3.0, not the pro (no programming screen). $100+ per camera Similar features, app works fine for all. Be prepared to but $ worth of good lithium AA batteries. i am experimenting with rechargeable Chinese battery packs for the reveal from amazon - work okay, pretty sure they will suck when it's cold, but are doing fine for now and cheaper than the AAs. |

They really go through the batteries if the cell signal is weak and it has to search all the time. I bought one that is basically unusable as a cellular camera at my place due to a weak signal. |

I use Spypoint cell cameras. They just work...no issues except for one that didn't seal correctly and the battery pack rusted. 100 photos for free every month for every camera and a choice of plans if you want more than 100 pics. They are a Canadiancomunist product, though. |
