I have one. It is stored in my barn right now.  I bought a 10 x 20 shop/storage building  3 years ago with the plan of putting the stove in it to use for canning. Or just an extra heat soarce (sp?) for the (man cave) when reloading, wood working or knifemaking.  But as of yet, I haven't gotten anyone to come over and help me cut a hole for the flue/chimney, and put the right insulation in for it.  It is still a dream though.  Maybe one of these days when other more pressing chores get done.

My wood stove has a flat top and I've cooked many a meal on it. Dutch oven/cast iron works great.

Yes I have a pioneer maid we got from Lehmans  hardware about 10 years ago cooks ,heats, makes hot water (2 ways) it is the most dependable piece of equipment we have.If you have any thing to burn you have a hot bath, hot food, and a warm house. It was bought for Y2K and it has been heating our house ever since.
