7V7V Algeria (Special event station) on 14.222. Big pile-up. It took me about 5 minutes and 1.5kW to break through. His signal is picking up though.
Also, there are a lot of Eastern European stations on 20 meters. |

FT4TA on 21285 - Lost of guys on the E & W coasts working him but he's been super light here all day and like right now, I can't hear him at all.
VK9DLX on 24920.8 RTTY - 100% copy and I just worked on the first call. Every time I think they've packed up and left I work them one more time! According to their web page there are still a couple guys there working on the higher bands. http://www.lordhowe2014.org/news/index.php?task=shownews&id=10 ETA: And FT4TA is on 10115 right now. Come join us, it seems that everyone is there. The lids, cops, tuner-uppers, and a few thousand normal hams calling. Now gone... Back but weaker, jammers back too.... |

20 m band was dead in the evening but it opened up at around midnight. I called CQ and had a pileup of Russian stations that lasted for 2 hours. My throat hurts.
The band is wide open to eastern Europe right now if anyone is up this late. |
