There was a decent 6 meter opening yesterday evening.

ETA: Looks like another one in the SE USA right now.

Hmm. I have worked 2M FM to MMs halfway across the Pacific. But not this time of year.

There's another NA 6 meter opening right now. Some classified as F2 instead of Sporadic-E, with a MUF of 86 MHz. I could see it possibly opening on 2M for a moment.

Just worked Florida on 6M Sporadic-E. Heard Louisiana calling CQ but he vanished before I could work him.

Worked a station in Maine at 1100 UTC this morning on 2m SSB.

But there may have been a satellite involved

Don't see 6m Es openings to the west very often. Had one station from south TX on phone booming in at 20 over but he wouldn't shut up long enough for me to try to work him. Didn't hear anything on CW although the spots showed a few. Did get one new grid on JT65. Heart breaker was a XE station on phone that I could pull out of the noise but faded away before the exchange was completed.

Got this love-hate thing with 6m I can't explain.
