My kids were watching Handy Manny or something this morning and one of the little shows they have in between shows is Lou, Lou and Lou: Safety Patrol. It has little safety things in it all the time. Anyway, this morning the Safety Patrol was discussing emergency preparedness and were putting together a "Go Bag" for each member of the family including the dog. I didn't catch all of it but they were putting food, flashlights, clothes, etc. in each bag and coloring books and stuff for the kids. I thought it was pretty cool.
Side note/stupid question: what does /b/ mean? |
| Thanks for the concern but I've watched all the shows they watch and I'm not concerned about what I've seen. It seems to me to be teaching helping others, being safe, etc. I'm okay with that stuff. Just thought it was interesting that they're teaching kids about go-bags. |

I found a clip available on the Disney site itself: http://tv.disney.go.com/playhouse/safetypatrol/lnl_video.html
Yeah, gotta watch 'ol Disney sometimes. Ruttin' Californians! Heh. |
