I am going to be placing my first order with them in the next few days. Probably just for some mylar bags and O2 absorbers. Is there anything there that I should buy while I am ordering that is kind of specialized to them that I dont want to miss out on. Just in-case it is a while before i order from them again. I saw that they had a pretty neat looking mixing pitcher for powdered milk, anything else? What are your favorite things to buy from them?

look on their online catalog, and see if any of the monthly sale items appeal to you. i got a katadyn hiker from them last month, with approx. $30 off.

They're GTG.  I've bought from them from time to time. Never a problem.

If you are planning to pack in 5gal buckets,
I see lots of people buying the Gamma Seal lids,
I am not sure if Emergency Essentials has the best price on those, but it looks like they are on sale.

Also a lot of people like the: Bucket Opener

If you don't want  " EMERGENCY ESSENTIALS " plastered all over the box, you can enter " I prefer plain boxes " in the comment section of your online order.

Well, you might could order buckets.  Order 'em with regular lids––only need to put Gamma lids on "daily use" buckets.

I try to fill their large 20" X 30" Mylar bags inside their 6 gallon buckets with as much product that I can put in, and still  have enough room to affix the lid.

I also use their larger oxygen absorbers, which come in a 10-pack.

In order to maximize oxygen absorbption, the wife and I wait until we have enough buckets to utilize all the absorbers in one package––usually 10––and just do 10 buckets at a time.

I have a wish list a mile long with those folks.  I've been slowly checking items off over the last two years.  I'm now moving on to the "nice to have" items like the Wonder Washer, and a couple extra Katadyns.

I just got the new catalog w/ sale items in yesterday...they have some pretty decent deals, but some of them you have to buy 6-12 cans to get the sale price so just be mindful of that.

I'm pretty excited about my LRP meals I got from them on sale for $3/piece last month (unbranded mountain house).

The shipping was a flat price and they gave me free lids on all my #10 cans...they are a great company IMHO.

DEFINITLY purchase (at least) one of those 2 quart mixing pitchers. You won't believe how fast and easy those things work. I bought two; keep one in a large zip lock in my prep area and the other I use frequently for juice and other powdered drink mixes.

Another item you might consider is their #10 can of honey. Pricey (about $32.00) but I don't know were else (or at what cost) you can get it at.

And besides, honey is !

Is that honey dehydrated?  or just a #10 can of honey?

That is why I was asking, the website is not clear (but I think it is just raw honey).
I can't really see an advantage of buying it in a #10 can - raw or powdered. Thought I might be missing something.

Being from Texas, we also store/use Agave Nectar.

Looks to be just plain honey in a can.

Waste of $$.

Just keep it in a jar and you'll do fine,

I have one and it works fine. Grinds wheat very fine, not too difficult to grind. Five minutes gets you enough for a loaf of bread.
