Blackbuck and axis. Both were taken my preferred way, spot and stalked.
Surprisingly the stars aligned on wind and sun and I got to 95 yards on the axis.

It's a cool photo, but what's exotic about it?

Probably the fact that neither of those are native to America.

What isn't exotic about them? You could not find more foreign animals.

Those are going to make great mounts.

Taxidermist just called and they are ready. I've got to find time to drive over to San Antonio and pick them up in the next month.

I shot the black buck without the suppressor and the axis with the suppressor on the following day. I was in a downwind 20 MPH situation on the axis and I could hear the impact perfectly. Used Federal Terminal Ascent 175 gr and was quite impressed.

Nice! I still love seeing 308 getting it done.

I would love to do an exotic hunt one day.
