[ARCHIVED THREAD] - First Strike Rations

Anyone know anything about these? I would like to try to put something similar together for my Get Home bag. I like the idea of no cooking and utensils needed and I would only need to carry about 4 days worth to get me home.

I see alot of the same components of an MRE listed along with some civilian type stuff, such as the pouched tuna. Don't believe I've ever seen any before.

That's the new ration they are going to.

It's modeled after the British ration, IIRC.

They making them yet? Thought it was still in testing... Iwant some of that stay alert gum. Not alot, like a lil bit to try to see if I like it... anyone? :)
