Soo..... anyone here still use Flexnet?  We have a few nodes in our area, and I've recently started to take over sysop duties for two of them.

And I'm pretty green with flexnet!

I've been running packet stations for a few years now, so I'm good with getting the hardware setup, and the various commands and settings in the TNCs (especially the differences between Kantronics, TNC2/MFJ/Clones, AEA/Timewave, etc).

Last night, I started getting a DOS 6.22 boot floppy ready for flexnet.  Got the autoexec.bat and config.sys files configured, copied the flexnet system and drivers to it, etc.  Still kinda trying to figure out how I configure everything.  I know there are various config/data files, and I know what some of them are (the info/sysop files, mainly).

Anyone more of an expert than me?

It's actually a robust system that requires almost no CPU power, RAM, or HDD space.  Just serial ports, and it works best with TNC2 TNC's (or clones) like the PacComm Tiny2 with the 6pack firmware.
