I don’t know if you’re a Sage guy but for a 3wt, the Trout Spey HD 3110 is an incredible rod as well. I have it paired to a 3 1/2” Bougle and it balances perfectly. |

I took two on the last trip but one broke when I was stripping line off of the reel getting ready to cast. It looks like a click spring broke as well as one of the posts holding one of the pawls. Testing out the Abel Rove 7/9 (solid frame) to primarily keep as a backup on trips for the 6wt’s. Really nice balance on rods 12’ 6” to 13’: Attached File |
