Anyone here have a recommendation for a zippered nylon bag for an HT and accessories?
I currently have two Yaesu FT-60's and plan to get a couple more in the future so we have one for each family member. I'd like a small bag that I can put the radio, the spare battery pack, spare batteries, collar mic, charger, etc that is only as big as it needs to be so it can be tossed in a pack or in a car quickly. Mainly I just want to keep everything together for each HT so if I grab one I know it has what I need with it so I don't have to hunt for things. I've looked around locally and the bags I'm finding are either just a bit too small for the radio with antenna attached or way too big. |

This might be a bit larger than you're looking for but....13" Tool Bag from Craftsman i.e. Sears. Sometimes you can pick them up on-sale for under $5.00! Have 2 they are convienient and LOTS of space.

The Hazard 4 bag looks great but is definitely more expensive than I'm looking for. The radio is only $145 and that bag is $100. I'm sure they are great bags but I'm looking for something a bit more economical. I'll be buying at least four of them. I'd spend $20 to $25 per bag for a nice one but can't justify that kind of cash.
The Sears bag looks like the best bet I've seen thus far. The radio, with antenna, is 11.25" so a 13" bag is about right and will probably have the space I need for the various accessories I keep with the radios. The price is certainly right as well. Thanks for the suggestions. |

A friend of mine recommended the LA Police Gear Bail Out bag so I bought one. I hate it.
Too big to be small, too small to be big for me. He's more of a geek than me and not into guns, so he's got more gadgets. I have a backpack for my laptop, I usually toss my radio stuff in there. |

I found a 3 pack of these at Lowes on clearance for less than $10 about 2 weeks ago.
by AWP...Assault Weapons Purse? I bought them for my oldest boys to put their hammer, tape, screwdrivers, etc.....in. Ours are black and grey, not black and tan as shown

I'm looking for a stretchy one, not a hook/loopy one. |

http://www.fotolode.com/images/SCWolverine/Ham/wx2.jpg I have one of those. Great multipurpose bag, and I currently have mine full of electrical connectors, wires, tools, etc. I picked up this "Zombie Hunter" bag from LAPG. Silly name, but kind of a neat bag. A little bigger than the CountyComm bag, and better compartmentalization. Has a little internal radio pouch and an antenna port with a Velcro flap. End pockets are good for batteries, chargers, etc. My biggest complaint is the material around the zippers is very stiff and makes working the zippers difficult.
