Handgun hunting scope question

Have a super red hawk in 44 mag.

Bought Wiegand scope mount and rings. The instructions say to put friction material on the rings. What is that? Tape, locktite?

Call the company and ask if they can send you what they are recommending you use.

Best guess - double sided tape.

If that doesn’t work out try Talley.

I used electrical tape before moving to a red dot on my super Redhawk 454

I've been shooting scoped .44 mag pistols since the 1980's. Never used any friction material on my scope rings.

I'd call the manufacture and ask them what they mean.
