OK
So we all have forgot something when going out for a hunting trip
Have any of you made a detailed list of everything you take along
for a weekend hunting trip?
Not just running out nearby for a day but driving several hours
and spending a couple days in a hotel (in middle of nowhere with
nothing around).  Food is taken care of as theres a group of us
all bringing stuff.

I am heading to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan hunting there
for the first time so I am excited.  Friends have scouted the land.
Ill be using a pop up ground blind (first time not in a tree stand
and I am looking forward to it haha)

If I were you, I'd ditch the pop-up blind.  I've never had luck with them, and they're a major pain to carry around.

Hunt from the ground, and get yourself a Cabela's Strut Seat.  They are the bomb.  For serious.

Sorry but it is supposed to be snowy and rainy in the UP then.
I will be setting up the pop up a day or two before I start the hunt
and will not remove it till Im done hunting.  It goes into its own backpack
and I know people who swear by them.

rifle
ammo
knife
range finder
shooting sticks
lens pen for scope
scent away
beef jerky
ass wipe
cleaning gloves
bottled water doubles ass piss jar or to rinse off blood

Just depends how deep you are packing and how long you are going to be there.  I hate hunting out of blinds especially if I have to carry them, they make noise and can get heavy depending on how long you have to pack in and what the terrain is like.   I pack enough stuff to be away from camp so I don't have to move for the day. YMMV

Rain ex and rain ex anit-fog for your scope.
