I have an Icom IC-F221S and an IC-F420S. I was wanting to program one or the other for desktop use on a few local UHF repeaters. Has anyone ever programmed these? Also, was it just factory software or was it something other than factory software?

looks like the F221 requires CS-F100 and the F420s takes CS-F300S to program. not sure how easy those are to find. these are LMR radios so i doubt you will find anything other than the ICOM software.

I have programmed both, with factory software.

The F420 (I think) is DOS software but ran ok in a dos box.
