I've been reading through the ARRL's microcontroller projects for ham radio and was curious if anyone here has made anything cool with them. I designed and had fabbed some pcb's for a failed iambic keyer project (forgot to provide a RF path to ground on the inputs so it'd key up...and stay keyed up. Ooops.) That project made use of a PIC 16F57 if I recall correctly and the code was all written in PIC assembly.

No, I haven't done anything with one.

I was hoping this thread would go somewhere because I bought an Arduino Uno as was looking for something to do with it.

So basically I am giving this a bump.

I built a Repeater controller with a frequency adgile remote base using an Atmel chip and used BASCOM to program it.

It never really got off the breadboard because I wound up packing up everything and moving 1000 Miles to help take care
of my dad. Then it basically never got worked on again, I have all the code still if  I ever get the urge to work on it again.
