Bass Pro Shop has the Muck Arctic Pro on sale for $129. I think that is a pretty good price. http://www.muckbootcompany.com/Products/Pages/ArcticPro.aspx My question is how hot are these boots? I would be wearing them during late fall and winter is northern OH. They are rated -60F to 40F. Is the Woody Max (-40F to 60F) more suited for OH winter weather? When I go deer hunting, the only thing that ever seems to get cold are my toes. Right now I am just wearing insulated socks, insulated leather boots and rubber slip ons. |

I bought the "wetlands" recently for early season, so far they are the best rubber boot I've owned, easy on and off, no buckle at the top yet they are snug.
I think I must be one of those guys who's always had cold feet from them being too hot and sweating cause so far these have been great. |

It's been warmer this fall but there were several evenings when it was in the thirties and with regular socks I didn't have cold feet. Not to mention they have been so comfortable that I wore them on two separate days walking to Pheasant hunt. |
