1.9L DI 3 cyl 2-Stroke. 5 years before first power head service? 3.5gal under cowling oil tank? 15 fasteners to attach waterproof cover?

I'm questioning this design even though I had a problem free 11 year experience with a 115 E-Tech that gave excellent fuel economy and still ran perfectly when I sold the boat.

It wouldn't be my first choice. Rotax has a decent reputation, but the drive and getting parts for it would be a challenge.

Would not touch with a ten foot pole.

I have had regular outboards go under water from waves.

Hard NO from me dog.

ETA - Link to some info..

Reading through that link is comical to me.

Didn't realize it'd be that heavy. Kinda comical, one of the many inboard Rotax boats out there would be a far better option. Or a conventional outboard.
