#1 Dont Die
#2 Be a good dad/husband #3 Pay of Medical Bills #4 HAM license Ive kicked around the HAM can long enough... gonna do it Im an active and involved daddy/husband, so I dont have too much time on my hands, but Ive printed Dan Romanchick's Tech Guide and put it in a binder to carry, read and study when I have down time in the afternoon. My intention for HAM is to start small, use/have it for travel, hiking and emergencies. Im looking at the Baofeng models for ease of use and portability. This post is to encourage you to harrass, haze and berate me until I get my license
I look forward to joining your fold soon! |

Nevermind when I got my ticket. My daughter got her tech at 8 and general at 9. I'm now working on my 7 y/o for his tech. My kids are not super special snowflakes. Just study for the test and you'll be fine. It's a neat hobby with a very practical application which tends to make it a non-hobby thing. You will now understand all the witchcraft and sorcery with wireless devices. |
