There was a thread some time ago, I believe by Feral, about using crab apples to make pectin and jar it. I've picked a half bushel of crab apples, but now I can't find the thread. So, does anyone have a recipe for making pectin with crab apples, or have a link to said thread?

I've done grape jelly, applesauce, and raspberry jam recently. Didn't do anything on making pectin from crabapples though. |
