Whoops sorry, OK I wasn't sure seeing their website was "under construction" for the last year or so.

I'm trying to compile this information into notebook with shortwave, ham and public safety stuff. Just something handy to have. I also would like to make a point to check into these nets to see what they are all about.

I'm not sure what gave you the impression that the possum net had anything to do w/ prepping.  It's a bunch of drunk / stoned liberal retards doing everything the FCC says you can't do on the air –– "Cursing, fighting, jamming, broadcasting music, racial slurs, bigotry, death threats, etc."

Don't waste your time.

The various hurricane nets may look overwhelming, but many are on the same frequency from state to state, and overlap.  I am sure in a real emergency they may become one big net across the region.  So, while many nets, not that many frequencies.  Basically, tune up the band and you will hear these nets about every 10 khz.  If your radio can be programmed, you might program these few frequencies.  Or just dial up and down the 75, 40, and 20 meter bands and I am sure you would hear activity.
