Trying to figure out where to mount a 10" Garmin F.F.  best place for me (the driver) would block about 1/2 of the instrument cluster.  Plan b would be to mount it in front of passenger seat (old ff was there and I didn't care for it)

Thinking about removing the gauges, cover existing panel with ? (Maybe 1/4" black  hdpe) and relocate instruments so they can be seen.  May delete the speedometer as GPS ff has more accurate speed (over ground, I get it).

Current panel area gauges are in is about 5" x 19".  I need all gauges to be in the leftmost 11-1/2".  The tilt /trim gauge is slightly larger than the other 2" gauges.  I can't seem to find a 2" white face, black bezel tilt / trim gauge.

Wondering if this is a reasonable thing to do?  Looking underneath the dash it looks doable.  Amazon sells a single digital gauge for about $65 that supposedly displays most everything- seems ridiculously cheap looking at prices of standard gauges.

Here are some quad gauges you may consider.

When I get my second depthfinder for the console, I plan on covering the gauges.  I really only use the fuel gauge, rpm's when testing.  Never look at trim really, drive by feel.  Ive got the boat set up how I want it, with prop and pad, so RPM's may be covered too.  I use the garmin for battery voltage and speed.  Its close enough/more reliable than most speedo's in boats anyway.  Just my .02.

Kind of going that way.  I mounted it on a short arm on right side of the panel - I can see most of the gauges.  Not much clearance between the wheel and the unit though, have to ponder that a bit.  Could be if I move windshield forward about an inch I could get the unit higher and get more clearance.
