I think that we need more firm definitions for SF terms, specifically the difference between minor to major every day problem, SHTF, and TEOTWAWKI.
Here is my view on the subject: Personal Issue (PI = Job Loss, Car Accident, Basement Flooded) Personal Issue Major (PIM = Tornado took out my town, Major Flooding, Major Ice Storm) Minor SHTF (Hurricane Katrina) Major SHTF (Another Great Depression, Wide Spread Civil Unrest) TEOTWAWKI (Global Extinction Event, True World War, Complete Collapse of the Government) What say you? |

Im gonna have to go with protus on this one, we need a number scale like defcon
I'm having a level 1 SHTF /loud speaker/ "Attention all personell, SHTF level has been raised to level 2, please donn all personal protective equipment immediately." I like it! Now I just need to learn to ignore the GD SHTF threads.... |
