| My way is just to make regular dill pickles (using the recipe from our other pickle thread) but when you put the cucumbers in, also add sliced jalapeno (seeds and all - that's where the heat is) to the jar. Gives a really good dill-jalapeno flavor to the pickles once you let them sit for a few weeks. I normally use one sliced whole jalapeno per quart jar, you can adjust to taste. I'd guess other peppers would work too depending on your desired flavor and heat level. |

I have no idea what it tastes like, but those are some of the prettiest jars I've ever seen!
