Just saw those (different source) a couple of days ago. Not as expensive as I thought. Wonder how durable they are.

That's a nice looking pack.....

As for the panel, you never regret buying more watts. You can get the same panel in a 26W unit, and it will charge 4AA's in the time it takes to prepare lunch on the trail in full sun. The difference in weight and size aren't enough to make me want a smaller panel than the one in my pack, the 26W is the size of a magazine.

Exactly.

IMO, the other one looks like Coffee house hippie shit. Not only would you risk breaking it every time you leaned against something. or set your pack down, it just looks silly.

Id rather pack a few cells in a small, hard case.
