I had a chance to get out a few days over the holiday, the hunting was pretty good. I don't usually take pics of coyotes anymore but a co-worker wanted a few, so I thought I'd share.

Rifle is a Remington 700 BDL .17Rem, shooting 30gr Bergers. No exit holes.

I may get out later in a couple more weeks for a few more, I'm waiting to see what the market is going to do, I have about a dozen put up so far. The cool thing for me this year was i called in at least one coyote to the gun on my first 5 stands of the year. That's never happened to me before... I also killed the biggest coyote I've ever seen, almost 60lbs, it's pretty obvios above which one he is....

Glad that you were taking pics this time, thanks for sharing them.

That is a huge coyote, anything over 50 pounds is huge.

Your .17 Rem gets the jobs done in good fashion too, nice setup and great work!

Wow they get big up there in the north! What was the market like last year for coyote pelts up there? Here in AZ coyote pelts are near worthless, with a few exceptions.

Not much last year, around $15. Looks like the market may be taking a turn for the better though... I got a quote over the phone at $40 for grade A heavies, we'll see.
