I have gone through an involuntary cell phone service provider change. The new service is GSM and I now have no signal in the building at work (Metal building). My dad also has poor signal at home. (metal roof) Any suggestions for a reasonable booster or perhaps a DIY. Thanks Jay |
| I ran into similar problem when I moved from Arizona to South Carolina. Verizon worked well in Arizona but they have terrible coverage in the Charlotte/ Rock Hill area. I had no signal in my house and very low signal at work. I bought a directional antenna with 50 ft of low loss cable but never installed it. I switched to ATT instead and the problem was solved. ATT has great coverage in this area. I'll sell the antenna for half price of a new one if you want it. You'll need a cable adapter for your phone. The adapter it came with was for older Motorola phones. |

edit: 1. Initial glance I thought this was a Hunger Games thread 2. Caution OP, almost this very same question got me mixed up with this bunch (of course we've already corrupted you!) |
