| It's been a very long time ago but I've had some really good mornings trout fishing on the Surfside jettys. It was probably early 90s when they rebuilt them and the large chunks of granite were really easy to get around on. I'm sure they're covered with algae and slick as ice now. |

if ur ok with FB, they have several forums specific to Tx coastal fishing although booking a guide seems expensive, you will learn tons from the right guy; as to who that is, i'm not sure. i went to SP Island over Christmas with my wife & son and we learned alot from the guide, plus got to use some gear i'd never consider buying, but proof is in the experience. |
