Not sure if this is the best place/thread to ask...
Considering a LEM Big Bite 12 meat grinder. Anyone have an idea on what their Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals generally are (if any)? I saw they are offering free shipping as one of their deals using code black20, but it appears their prices have also been elevated from when I was browsing earlier. Any other sites you guys would recommend for deals/sales on their machines? I noticed right now, without sales deals, Home Depot of all places is the best bet with free ship to home shipping and $50 cheaper than the listed price on Lemproducts.com, and WAY cheaper than current listings on Amazon. Thanks- |

IIRC, the culprit is the baking powder in the mixes. I don't remember why or how, but I recall reading that it happens with a lot of those products. Also, if you have a can of mix that's even slightly bulged, don't attempt to open it inside: the pressure will blow flour out and you'll be cleaning up for days Another note: all of the food items at the LDS store are in stock for the first time in quite a while. |

(I SWEAR I'm not a shill for the LDS store! ) Just received my case of Red Wheat from LDS (and potato flakes) this afternoon. The entire case of cans had a thumb-sized dent in them. Called them up, shot them some pics. They are issuing me a refund for the case and said I could chuck it. I am planning to order more. But now I'm wondering if that small of a dent will actually be cause for concern. Either way, I would definitely order from LDS again. Super cheap compared to anything else out there, excellent customer service, and the packaging (boxed cans) is very space efficient and convenient for LTS. |
