I discovered that the 90 count Electrasol containers ( for automatic dishwashers)are perfect for holding 2 large rolls of TP. I'll do the outside with duct tape to aid in water repellent capabilities and its done.

I have found that you can put 12 rolls of TP in a 5 gal bucket without squishing the tube. If you wanted you could even put other things inside the TP tubes (like Imodium). Yes the buckets are sealed.

I was looking at a smaller container for those short times away from the house. If I really want to store large amounts of TP then I can rent a space next door to store it. This container is for backpacking. I can even drop some of the pink stuff in small bottles in the middle.

Damn, 2 rolls for backpacking?  You are either out for a seriously long hike or you need to change your diet!

However, it is a bummer to be caught short!  Drop your only roll and watch it roll down the hill and into a swamp or something like that.....

Score the tube from the inside with a knife, tear it out.  Flatten the roll and vac seal for storage (gets very small).  I use the leftover scraps from vac sealing bags to seal small quantities of tp for hiking/BOB.  Makes a TAP (tiny ass package), pardon the pun .

+1 on Vacuum sealing.. compresses it down considerably

Plastic coffee "cans" hold one roll well.

They are a natural resource in most workplaces.

Won't that upset the "quilted" nature of today's high-performance ass wipes.

My tushy is sensitive.

Take a look in to baby wipes!! They clean you better with less! Just me I have favored baby wipes over TP since I came back from Iraq.

That's a great idea.  I have several of the 5 gallon buckets I've saved up from work.

take a look at the flushable baby wipes.  same performance as baby wipes, but safe for septic systems.  plus they come in a resealable plastic bag.
