Just started today and I snagged them on 30m through an intense pile-up. I'm not in the log and there was someone tuning up right on my sending freq, so even though he was sending my call in the clear and I thought we had a completed QSO, something got messed up and I'm not in the log. Still at zero contacts with them.
They had a great signal so this should be fun through the 16th! The Italian Dxpedition team is doing this. http://www.i2ysb.com/joomla5/ |

Well, I have a 15m CONFIRMED contact with them tonight.
The TT8TT log is online real-time. There are also three stations in Niger running right now, and I just worked 5U5U on 20m RTTY. http://www.premiumorange.com/5u-2012/ I'm off work all next week and plan to work lots of DX along with getting real work done around the house, like new siding on the garage. 20121006 0430 UTC update - 30 meter vengeance is mine!

They seem to operate the same too. I've been chasing them on 20 and 40 last night and today. Their signal is great, there are lots of people calling them and they're working them, and they just decide to change bands! Having a hell of a time because they go elsewhere right when it's best for me to work them! |

I think this is over for me unless they come on 20 CW in a few minutes.
Lots more coming up! 3B9SP started tonight. No copy here on 17 but weak and 50% readable on 30 and 40 meters. Big pile-up of course. 10,410 miles short path from my QTH. ETA: http://hb9fr.ch/3b9sp/ |
