| So, I wanna build a semi perm teepee. at a good location where can I find plans materials? any body else try this? I would like it to be as authentic as posible. with some exceptions ie not against pvc or conduit for poles , and canvas is good enuf . |

Lodgepole pine and smoked bison skin sewn together with sinew, now that's authentic. Canvas comes in second. pvc and conduit are not. Wind flags on the tips of the lodge poles will tell wind direction, so smoke flaps can be adjusted accordingly. Warm in winter with a fire, cool in summer with bottom vents raised. |
