Getting ready for a 2 week trip this fall. Got this at an army surplus store and other than the black interior I really like it. 10x20 both side walls roll up leaving a screen wall for hot weather.

Where are you heading? So are you planning to do day hikes from this main camp, or will you have other activities planned?

I hope it's just car camping. That'd be tough to pack.

Heading for Colorado this will be replacing our pop up camper as base camp will also have a spike camp several miles in.

Can you share where you got that and what it cost?

Local store had it on display $400 for the tent poles ropes and stakes but I use 18" trapping stakes for the lines instead or the 12" it came with.

I can remember spending weeks inside those ovens at Camp Thunderbird at Rhine Main AFB. They can be great for protection from the elements, but they sure can be hot inside.

My hunting trip partner talked me into getting the liner and I'm happy I did its pure awesome. Should keep it warmer and really lighten up the dark interior.
