I use too see warning signs that stated something to the effect of"This site is licensed by the Federal Government. Blah blah blah something about injury or prosecution.
Anyone remember them or where to get them? Use to see them years ago on EBay. Just doing a little cya. |
I used to have one on the shack door which said "This is an Amateur Radio Station. It is licensed by blah blah... I worked blah blah.... I earned blah blah... Don't complain about the mess blah blah...!"
Outside on on towers & masts & RF energized equipment it is good to have "DANGER - High Voltage" signs, generic ones from a safety supply are fine. And of course prevent access to children & pets as appropriate. I reckon anyone who is required to post more signage than that would know who they are. I think most of us posess certain objects which are often regarded much more dangerous  and usually strive to NOT advertise the fact!

| Some people don't take signs such as dangerous or risk of life seriously. This was more of a warning that property is licensed by federal govt could result in loss of life or prosecution. Basically saying equipment has a right to be there and anyone tampering with it at risk. |

I had some goos pics of a sign you describe. It was on a telecom microwave relay tower way out in the desert. It read something like
"NO TRESPASSING by ORDER OF THE UNITED STATED GOVERNMENT. THIS FACILITY IS MONITORED AND TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED". I'll see if I can dig that up and maybe you can have a sign made. |
