I've always had bad heartburn. Being the only kid in 3rd grade eating rolaids instead of candy was a trip. That said any of the 1990-94 era MREs with any type of red sauce would kill me. So I stuck with the corner beef hash, chicken also king, tuna with noodles, ham slice. There's one other I'm forgetting. |

Still the only person on the face of the Earth who likes chicken a la king. The chicken was really good, but the a la part was so so. Great with the included Tabasco. Turkey Tetrazzini was also great with the hot sauce. Notice the common ingredient. All you youngsters got the pizza burger. Which is pretty darn tasty |

First MRE I ever had was a chicken ala king. Ate it for breakfast while waiting to march to a range in basic training. It was always a favorite. |
