Bivi sack photo at sunrise after a headlamp descent after topping out via the right-hand ridge of the peak. This was only my climbing partner's second night camping out. Ever. Her first night was the bivouac just prior to this 300+ meter climb. That's her in my yellow 1-man TNF tent. She pulls into a parking lot intending to simply do a day hike by herself. She ends up doing a backcountry III 5.10 with a total stranger, with two overnights, one of those overnights dominated by a headlamp descent from a knifeblade ridge.
