Quoted: No way DT, I'd take your rig over that thing anyday.I want that soooooooooo bad!! About a year ago I got to see one up close. A local tuning shop had one in that a Orlando Magic player owned. They said it was garbage. The fit and finnish was terrible, it was slow as a dog, and the reason it was in the shop was the damn thing was never working. |

My post from the other thread about these things. Quoted: weight 13,000 pounds gvwr 23,000 pounds gas version GM 6.0L diesel version Cummins 6.7L Transmission Touqueflight 5 speed auto. I think this may be a slow truck with an intensive transmission maintenance schedule. hey t least these come with a machined key |

The .gov auctioned some armored vans last year. To my knowledge there are no restrictions on owning an armored cash van or armored car. You would have to obey the DOT rules for the weight of the vehicle though. That weight makes the vehicle in the OP an interesting item because you can easily end up operating as a commercial truck subject to $$$$$$ fines if you get the papers out of order. Buyer beware. Quoted: Has anyone looked into buying a used cash in transit van or used armored car? I see that there are sites that sell them. Are there any restrictions to civilians owning these? I may be getting into a business where I could use such a thing. |

That doesn't look too comfortable in a Michigan winter Doesn't matter. When the zombie/emp/alien/Chinese/invasion/apocalypse happens the area my retreat is in gets feets of snow. Not going any where anyhow. Plus for $99.95 I can buy a plastic top at walmart! |
