As long as you can put the barrel in their ear before you pull the trigger it will work fine.

Is this a troll thread?  I can't think of any state where it would even be a legal cartridge out of any weapon.

It is.  But to point out one thing to TeeRex, in Missouri, the way the law is written, somebody could take their Lorcin .25 out and use it for deer hunting.

MT you can hunt bears with a .22 CB in a derringer if were so inclined .  A heard of documented case of a man shot himself in the head with a .25 ACP. woke up a hour later and went to a party.  so no a .25 acp I wouldn't even own one. much less depend on it

Legal in NY.

Not recommended.

Remember what Jeff Cooper said,"never shoot a man with a .25 ACP because if he ever finds out he is going to be really mad".

It would be legal if clambered in a rifle in VA.  Only stipulation for rifles is larger then .23 caliber.

Just got me thinking should get a custom rifle in 6mm ACP wildcat.

It is a caliber that, while legal in a lot of places, is a very poor choice for obvious reasons.

I've killed hogs with a .22lr out of a pistol, so it will definitely work but you better be a damned good shot!

Years ago I got one a gun show and carried it around occasionally. On day we were shooting at a buddy's pace. we took one of those cheap ass bathroom trash cans like comes in the set at WalMart.

We turned it upside down and used it as a target.

That .25 would go through one side, but not the other and the lead was laying in the dirt below it. A.22 would zip right through.

I have two of them because after the first one grew on me I figured what the hell and picked up a second one.Shot both of them once to check reliability and they each ran smooth.Would not be my primary carry arm but it's still better than being empty handed.

You can fill some 12guage shells with some 25acp bullets. That would probably "drop them dead".

That's a hell of a reliability test.

Just can't picture running a thousand rounds through one or doing a mag dump either. It's not like JMB designed them with an extra notch on the slide so it would also have a slide release.LOL.Believe it or not these guns killed plenty of Germans for the French Resistence during the Second World War when they smuggled them in cigarette boxes.
