I recently purchased a country living grain mill...my future step-father decided to give me a lot of corn he grew this summer but didn't like. It is still on the cob and has been frozen. What are some of the ways to get it off the cob and ready to be ground in the mill? |
From what I have read it goes by many names, field corn, grain corn, and yellow dent corn... Here's some where I read a lot about it... waltonfeed.com/self/corn.html |
you can go to the seed/feed store and ask for hickory cane, or hickory king. leaving it on the stalk allows moisture to travel downthe stalk, through the roots, back into the ground. |
