IDK myself, but a buffer would relieve my worries. 73, Rob ETA do I need some RIF

| A buffer? Are you talking about an interposing relay for keying an amplifier? I never heard it called that way but I never used one. Most base rigs have an internal relay or an "open collector" transistor circuit rated for at least 1 Amp. It should work with any modern amplifier. I wired my 25 y.o. HF-2500 amp to my FTDX3000 directly. It seems to work fine. Your TS-590 should be similar. |
